Mark Ruffalo was previously cast as 60 Minutes founder Don Hewitt, who was Cronkite's producer on the day President John F. Kennedy was killed on Nov. 22, 1963. The film will also feature a portrayal of Dan Rather, who was reporting from Dallas on that historic day.
