Expect a cliffhanger end to Party of Five's first season

Co-creator Amy Lippman discusses sending the five children to Mexico for this week's penultimate episode, and says of next week's season finale: "I will say, without giving away what happens, we end the season in ways that the audience will not expect. The way we leave at the end of the season suggests a whole new story in the second season. Nothing will be the same as a result of the way we end the first season. Now, I never thought I’d do a cliffhanger, but it is a cliffhanger."
