Jon Stewart and Pete Davidson team for an all-star comedy event to benefit 9/11 charities

The NYC Still Rising After 20 Years: A Comedy Celebration will take place on Sept. 12 featuring big names such as Amy Schumer, Bill Burr, Wanda Sykes, Michael Che, Jimmy Fallon and John Mulaney. “We wanted to put on a fun celebration to honor this great city’s resilience,” Stewart and Davidson said in a joint statement. “It’s nice to be able to do this with friends and people we love.” Davidson, of course, lost his New York City firefighter father in the World Trade Center attacks, while Stewart has spent the past two decades advocating for 9/11 first responders.
