Nathan Fielder to star in Showtime comedy pilot The Curse from Uncut Gems' Safdie Brothers

The Nathan for You alum is teaming with Benny and Josh Safdie on a comedy pilot that "explores how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple who star in Flipanthropy, their troubled HGTV show," according to Deadline. Benny Safdie will co-star while he and his brother directs. Fielder plays the husband. Benny Safdie -- who co-wrote the pilot with Fielder -- plays the producer of the HGTV show.
