Timothée Chalamet and Pete Davidson proved to be a solid comedy duo with three sketches together this week on Saturday Night Live.
First Davidson joined Chalamet behind the piano during the opening monologue to help sing a song about growing up in New York, and towards the end of the show, they appeared as New York Jets fans on Newsmax insisting that the winless team has actually won every game this year and it's all an NFL conspiracy.
Then there was the "Rap Roundtable" sketch, where they played super-obnoxious TikTok rappers on a panel run by Nunya Bizness (Ego Nwodim) and featuring Queen Latifah (Punkie Johnson) and the real life Questlove from The Roots. The discussion of the hip-hop culture soon derails, thanks to the "too confident white boys" whose major musical influences are Yo Gabba Gabba and the Kia hamsters. When they bust out the "Yeet," Questlove starts to throw hands.
