Pop singer Justin Bieber's recent playful comment under Madison Beer's post has gone viral. The Peaches crooner jokingly called out Beer for not including a song from his new album in a recent IG upload.

Madison took to her Instagram last month to share a series of pictures, including a selfie beside white flowers. She added the caption:

    "The flowers say hello."

In response, Justin Bieber, who is currently celebrating the release of his latest project, SWAG (July 2025), commented:

"The fact u didn't use a song from the new record for this slide is diabolical (several raised eyebrow and launging emojis)."

It is worth noting that the pair have been friends for a long time. Madison even told Cosmopolitan she loved Bieber and his wife Hailey "very much" in April 2025.

Bieber was referencing the song Daisies from the aforementioned project. When fans pointed out that Beer shared the selfie before his album came out, the singer quipped:

"k ur off the hook looks like these were posted prior."

Justin Bieber discovered Madison Beer back in 2012 after he tweeted one of her YouTube covers

In the early 2010s, Madison Beer shared covers of her singing popular songs on her YouTube channel. She garnered attention after Justin Bieber tweeted a link to her singing Etta James's At Last in 2012, calling her a "future star." Beer soon signed to Island Records, the label Bieber was signed to. She was also taken on by the Justice artist's then-manager, Scooter Braun.

In September 2023, ahead of the release of her second album, Silence Between Songs, Beer addressed the moment in an interview with the Independent. She explained:

"That was one of the most pivotal moments of my career meeting (Justin), it changed my life forever."

In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan (April 2025), the songstress noted that during her early years in the industry, many compared her to Bieber, even telling her she would become "the female Justin Bieber." She speculated on the reason for the comparison, suggesting it might have been due to their association with Braun. Madison continued:

"Justin was also only a teenager when I got signed—he hadn’t even experienced his adult life yet. He’s been through so much, too."

Eventually, when Beer wasn't able to replicate Bieber's success, her team, including Braun, her label, and her lawyer, "dropped" her.

Citing a "source familiar with Beer's situation," People magazine reported that Madison Beer's team wanted to promote her in a "s*xual manner." However, Bieber and his then-management team were against it due to her "age" and "respect towards women." This ended in them parting ways. Per the insider, she later worked with "many different managers who all had similar issues."

Beer told Cosmopolitan that despite the years, they have remained friends, adding:

"I love (Justin Bieber) and Hailey very much. I was with them recently and we were like, ‘How special that we’ve known each other for so long,'"

Madison elaborated that she knew Hailey since she was 10 and Justin since she was 12. She added that they are "still in each other's lives."

Beer has not publicly reacted to Bieber's comment under her post as of this writing.
