Joe Biden is set to give the only major Democratic National Convention speech from Milwaukee, leaked documents reveal

The Daily Beast reports the plan for the convention in four weeks is to have "main" speakers address the nation remotely from an unnamed “message-based location” in swing states around the country, with Biden the only person speaking from the site of the convention in Milwaukee. Michele Obama, Bernie Sanders and Dr. Jill Biden are also expected to give speeches. The leaked plans also feature digital renderings of convention attendees seated at distant tables and separated by see-through partitions. “The 2020 Democratic National Convention is being re-imagined to connect with voters from across America using satellite events from the swing states that are linked to a working convention floor in Milwaukee,” read the plans, with the goal of positioning Biden “as the right leader for this moment, to lead us out of crisis, bring us together, and build toward a kinder, stronger, and better America.”
