Director Nick Sweeney interviewed Norma McCorvey, known as Jane Roe in the landmark U.S. Supreme Court abortion case Roe v. Wade, on her death bed in 2017, when she made the revelation that she was paid to change her stance on abortion. "I was the big fish,” she admitted. “I think it was a mutual thing. I took their money and they’d put me out in front of the cameras and tell me what to say. That’s what I’d say.” AKA Jane Roe, FX Networks' first documentary feature, premieres on May 22, and will be available on Hulu the following day.
