Edward Stratemeyer's teen mystery series that he created in 1927, revolving around young crime-solvers Frank and Joe Hardy, is set to become a new TV series on Hulu, according to The New York Observer. Stratemeyer is also the creator of the Nancy Drew character, the female counterpart to The Hardy Boys, who has inspired a new CW series premiering next month. The Hardy Boys was originally turned into a short-lived ABC TV series in 1969, followed by a short-lived syndicated series in 1995.
