The El Paso and Dayton mass shootings have prompted ABC and ESPN to yank and delay airing their broadcast of the X Games Apex Legends EXP Invitational that was scheduled for this weekend. The event has been rescheduled for October. The delay also comes after President Trump blamed the mass shootings on "gruesome and violent video games" on Monday. The first-person shooter game Apex Legends is less realistic than a shooter game like Call of Duty, and is marked by a cartoonish art style that doesn't feature blood or gore.
