ABC developing an Indian matchmaking comedy from Late Night director Nisha Ganatra

The untitled comedy, which Ganatra is writing, directing and executive producing, "revolves around an unlucky-in-love romantic and her no-nonsense mom who butt heads as they run the most successful matchmaking service in Little India," per Deadline. The announcement comes one month after the premiere of Netflix's buzzworthy reality show Indian Matchmaking.
