The hit freshman medical drama starring Freddie Highmore has unsurprisingly been picked up for a second season. "This series has quickly joined the zeitgeist and broken records in the competitive television landscape," said ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey. "We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Shaun Murphy will be back for another season."
