Burns is collaborating with Oscar- and Grammy-winning musician T. Bone Burnett and Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul executive producer Mark Johnson on National Anthem, which is described as "the tragically funny story of a middle class midwestern family tumbling down the ladder of American society; periodically bursting into song as they struggle to catch themselves."
