The long-running Montreal comedy festival will be the subject of a six-part docuseries that is described as "Hard Knocks for standup comedy." The untitled series will follow up-and-coming comedians in New York City and Los Angeles as they vie for a spot at the festival in the New Faces showcases, which has previously boosted the careers of Jimmy Fallon, Kumail Nanjiani, Amy Schumer and Kevin Hart.
