Amazon “reviewing” Mad Men creator’s series and Robert De Niro-Julianne Moore series over Weinstein ties

Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner’s The Romanoffs and David O’Russell’s untitled Amazon drama starring De Niro and Moore are both produced and co-financed by The Weinstein Company, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Amazon says “we are reviewing our options.” The Hollywood Reporter reports that “several Amazon Studios executives — male and female, from various departments — expressed concern about the company's involvement on the two expensive and high-profile Weinstein Co. series amid a relentless series of revelations about Harvey Weinstein's conduct toward women.”
