While the SNL Vault doesn't have all 45 seasons and omits musical acts, the experience of watching old sketches is like tuning into early 1980s MTV. "If you’re a diehard fan, then you also may find the programming repetitive after all," says Sean L. McCarthy. "Much like early MTV, watching music videos in the early 1980s exposed you to some eclectic music, over and over and over again."
