"Why would you have a Democratic debate at the same time as an NFL game? Football fans vote too," the Democratic presidential candidate tweeted Wednesday evening. The three-hour ABC News Democratic debate begins at 8 p.m. ET, 20 minutes before kickoff of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers/Carolina Panthers Thursday Night Football game. But unlike most Thursday Night Football games that are given a network showcase on Fox, Thursday's NFL game is relegated to the NFL Network. In 2016, Donald Trump complained that two of the three presidential debates with Hillary Clinton were up against NFL games.
