Rain Valdez, a trans actor who worked on the Amazon series as a director’s assistant and coordinating producer, posted a lengthy statement to Twitter describing how Tambor allegedly kissed her on the lips the first time they met on set. Valdez said her statement was in response to Tuesday's Hollywood Reporter profile of Tambor, which she called "empathizing with the perpetrator" and "vilifying the accusers." “I want to declare again that I believe my sisters (and fellow accusers) Trace (Lysette) and Van (Barnes). I continue to stand with them 100% and I will do anything I can to help stop the vilifying because we’re done with that,” she wrote, adding: “We’re done with the lies and no pity party article is going to change that.”
