Ronald D. Moore's alt-history Space Race drama has been picked up for a third season more than two months before its Season 2 premiere on Feb. 19. The second season was also renewed early, before the Season 1 premiere. For All Mankind is the third Apple TV+ original series to receive an early Season 3 pickup after Ted Lasso and Dickenson. According to Deadline's Nellie Andreeva, For All Mankind "recently wrapped production, which had been interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic. The sci-fi drama had two episodes left to shoot from its ten-episode Season 2 order when filming shut down industrywide in mid-March. For All Mankind was among the first scripted series to resume production in August."
