James Corden and Ruth Jones' BBC comedy has faced a number of controversies, including for using homophobic slurs in its 2019 Christmas special. Amid the racial reckoning following George Floyd's death that resulted in Little Britain being pulled over its use of blackface, some have called for the BBC to pull the show over characters referred to as "Chinese Alan," "Seth, the black fella" and "Big Fat Sue." But BBC says: "These changes only affect Little Britain."
