BET orders Lena Waithe's Twenties comedy

Waithe wrote Twenties in her early 20s and sold it to TBS, which passed after filming a pilot. BET has given an eight-episode order to the comedy, following "the adventures of a queer black girl, Hattie, and her two straight best friends, Marie and Nia, who spend most of their days talking ish and chasing their dreams."
