When Bush was announced as the new anchor of Extra in May, it was also announced that the long-running syndicated entertainment news show would be retitled Extra Extra. But soon after announcing the name-change, a business called Extra Extra that publishes newsletters and magazines related to entertainment-industry trade shows threatened legal action. The owner of that business has held the trademark for "Extra Extra" since 1997. So Extra Extra is changing its name back to Extra to avoid the cost of a lawsuit.
