The ABC News investigative reporter was suspended last December for a month without pay after his false report that President Trump had ordered then-national security advisor Flynn to make contact with the Russians. Ross announced today he is leaving the network, along with his longtime executive producer Rhonda Schwartz. ABC News president James Goldston praised the pair, saying: "Over the years they have built a team of the best investigative journalists in our industry, and they leave behind an outstanding group that will continue to break stories for many years to come."
