Grothe, who died at age 52 earlier this year, after recently learning of his passing. “I have fond memories of him from work," she wrote on Instagram. "We had some good laughs. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Rest In Peace friend," she wrote. Chelsea Peretti also paid tribute, writing on Instagram: "Rest in peace Steve Grothe ... I hope you are eating massive breakfasts somewhere special and I will always cherish when The Daily Mail described you as a silver fox when we were shooting in Malibu. Sending love to the Grothe family and friends."
