CBS executives said this morning they are not ready to say goodbye to their biggest hit next season. "As long as (co-creator) Chuck (Lorre) and his team think they have stories tell, we're on board," CBS senior executive vice president Thom Sherman told reporters. "We hope to get at least two more years out of them. (The Big Bang Theory) is not slowing down anytime soon." CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl pointed out that Season 11 had the same ratings as Season 10. With performance like that, “we are hopeful that there will be more” seasons of Big Bang beyond the upcoming 12th,” Kahl said, adding: “We can take a few more seasons.”
