CBS is developing a revival of the Alaska-set quirky comedic drama that ran from 1990 to 1995. Original series creators Josh Brand and John Falsey are on board, along with original star John Corbett as a producer, with Morrow set to star. According to Deadline, the revival revolves around Morrow's Dr. Joel Fleischman returning "for the funeral of an old friend and finds a new set of quirky characters and reunites with old ones in this continuation of the classic series." Cast members said they would be interested in a possible revival when they reunited on the Today show and at the ATX Television Festival in June 2017. “We would love it. (Morrow) has been working, trying to get them to do it… I’m sure we all would agree that we’d love to see it,” Brand said at the ATX Television Festival reunion. “It’s of a time, but it’s also not of a time.” No word yet on whether other past cast members would return or whether the show will finally be available for streaming.
