One Direction alum Harry Styles will serve as an executive producer on the untitled Wayans comedy, about a 30-something couple who welcomes a young pop superstar in their lives. "The series is inspired by a time when executive producers Ben Winston and Harry Styles lived together,” CBS Television Studios said in a statement. “However, that’s where the reality ends. The show is not based on real life experiences or characters.” Winston is an executive producer of James Corden's The Late Late Show. Welcome to the Neighborhood stars Cedric the Entertainer in a comedy about the nicest guy in the Midwest, played by Josh Lawson, who moves to a tough neighborhood in L.A. where not everybody appreciates his "extreme neighborliness." The comedian will play his neighbor.
