CNN contributor Andrew Gillum found in a Miami hotel room with bags of suspected meth

The 2018 Florida gubernatorial candidate was present in a hotel room early this morning where a man was treated for a suspected overdose. Police say Gillum was "too intoxicated to answer questions." Gillum later released a statement saying: "I was in Miami last night for a wedding celebration when first responders were called to assist one of my friends. While I had too much to drink, I want to be clear that I have never used methamphetamines. I apologize to the people of Florida for the distraction this has caused our movement.” CNN has yet to respond to request from The Wrap for comment.
