CNN drops Rick Santorum following his racist comments about Native Americans

The political commentator faced consequences a month after he said there was "nothing" in America before white colonizers arrived. Days later, on Chris Cuomo's show, Santorum said he “misspoke” and that his comments were “out of context," but did not apologize. CNN had been criticized for not only not taking action, but for staying silent after his comments caused controversy.
