Guadagnino is in talks with HBO for an eight-episode series titled We Are Who We Are that follows two 14-year-old boys at an army base in Italy, according to the New York Observer. HBO has yet to confirm the series. The Observer says Guadagnino is co-writing the series and is expected to direct several episodes.
