The fantasy series based on Robert Jordan's novel series, which Amazon founder Jeff Bezos personally wanted made, has released its first images. Showrunner Rafe Judkins tells EW that The Wheel of Time will differentiate itself from other fantasy series in the way it highlights female characters, adding that the show is set in a matriarchal society.
