Chicago says it plans to sue Jussie Smollett after he failed to reimburse police $130,000

The city of Chicago is planning to file a civil lawsuit against the Empire star, demanding that he pay $130,106.15 -- the cost of investigating his alleged hate crime. The city sent Smollett a letter on March 28 threatening him with legal action and prosecution if he didn't pay within seven days.
