I just wanted to tell you that.” CNN and Cuomo have been criticized for ignoring the New York governor's many controversies in recent weeks, especially since the Cuomo brothers appeared on air together early in the coronavirus crisis last spring. Two weeks ago, CNN explained that it has always banned Chris Cuomo from interviewing his brother, but made an exception to that rule last year because their conversations were of "significant human interest."
