Colin Jost calls Donald Trump hosting SNL as a presidential candidate “a real Confederate statue of entertainment"

Jost was promoting his memoir A Very Punchable Face on MSNBC when Andrea Mitchell asked him about Trump's notorious second time hosting in November 2015. Jost reitereated that the episode “has not aged well, politically or comedically.” Jost did admit he was surprised how much Trump devoted to that week's show considering he was in the middle of a presidential campaign.
