Le Batard and ESPN president Jimmy Pitaro reportedly traded phone calls all weekend before the ESPN host decided to skip the Monday edition of his radio show, which airs on ESPNews. Le Batard was not suspended. Le Batard is also expected to be on his ESPN TV show Highly Questionable this afternoon. The New York Post reports Le Batard and Pitaro discussed ESPN's no-politics policy after the radio host blasted Trump last week over "send her back" rally chants targeting Rep. Ilhan Omar.
