Discovery Channel distances itself from Homestead Rescue star Marty Raney over his 1990s homophobic song

Raney has been the face of the Discovery wilderness show for five seasons. But his homophobic song "Adam & Steve" from his 1997 album has recently resurfaced. “This song which was written over 20 years ago does not reflect the show or the values of the network in any way,” said a Discovery spokesperson, who wouldn't comment further on the cable network's relationship with Raney.
