The Gilmore Girls and Parenthood alum, who's currently starring on Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist on NBC, will play the coach of a ragtag hockey team in the Disney+ reboot of the 1990s Mighty Ducks film franchise that starred Emilio Estevez. The Mighty Ducks has been given a 10-episode straight-to-series order. Graham will be joined by child actor Brady Noon, who recurred as Tommy Darmody on Boardwalk Empire. According to TVLine, the reboot, also set in Minnesota, will feature a hockey team that has "evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan (Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom Alex (Graham) set out to build their own ragtag team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of competitive youth sports." Steve Brill, who wrote all three films, will be back as co-creator and executive producer.
