The transition to a morning show will take place in 2020, with 20 to 25 Los Angeles-based E! News staffers getting laid off. E! News has aired at 7 p.m. ET/PT for years. Next year, E! News will air at 7 a.m. ET/PT from Rockefeller Center in New York City. E! also announced that Nightly Pop will expand to four nights a week beginning in the fall.
