The former E! reality star, who was found dead on a New York City sidewalk in the early morning hours of Aug. 14, died of an overdose of cocaine, alcohol and heroin, according to affidavit obtained by E! News. Additionally, a 29-year-old man named Alexis Meija-Ramirez was arrested and charged with concealment of a human corpse and tampering with physical evidence. The revelation of how McHenry died comes two weeks after The New York Times delved into the life of the Stanford alum, who grew up as a "privileged Hollywood daughter" in Beverly Hills to movie director and producer Doug McHenry and wardrobe stylist Jennifer McHenry. The father said he felt that the initial coverage of his daughter's death was racist, with her portrayed as a drug addict who deserved what she got. “I don’t want this to be: black girl, drugs, something funky went on, what do you expect?” he told The Times.
