Burke told ESPN colleague Adrian Wojnarowski that she first experienced symptoms on March 11, the day the NBA season shut down, before a broadcast featuring the Denver Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks. "By the time Saturday the 14th hit, Adrian, I was so tired that, if I tried to get out of bed from Saturday the 14th to Tuesday, March 17, St. Patrick's Day, I kid you not, I could not be out of be for five minutes without needing to go back to bed and lie down," she said. Burke said she's been symptom-free for days. "I'm so incredibly thankful to be feeling well," she said.
