Amid the Black Lives Matter protests a month ago, ESPN held a passionate two-hour conference call among its college football staffers, allowing Black personalities like Maria Taylor and Desmond Howard to share their personal experiences. During the call, Dave LaMont, a 16-year ESPN vet, was heard describing to somebody else that they were "venting," which caused a rebuke from Taylor. One month later, it's unclear if LaMont even still has a job at ESPN.
