ESPN's Monday Night Football won't feature halftime interviews with President Trump or Joe Biden the night before the election

Since ESPN obtained the rights to MNF in 2006, it has featured interviews with the presidential candidates twice on the night before the presidential election: Barack Obama and John McCain in 2008 and Obama and Mitt Romney in 2012. There was, however, no appearance from Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton the night before the 2016 presidential election.
