The Fox animated comedy revealed at Comic-Con that it was doing a Trump-centric episode in which Peter Griffin suddenly becomes White House press secretary. Family Guy producers now say the hour-long episode will devolve into Peter having a fallout with the president after he discovers Trump crossed the line with his daughter. “We’re just playing to what Trump has already confessed to, say, on a bus,” executive producer Alec Sulkin hints to EW. “And he has an encounter like that with Meg.” Fellow executive producer Rich Appel adds: “We’ve had many moments of rewriting and editing to both add stuff and remove stuff that no longer seems exaggerated enough. Thanks to Donald Trump, we can never really put this episode to bed — until it airs.”
