Female It's Garry Shandling's Show writer: I was forced to quit after being subjected to sexual harassment

Janis Hirsch, who wrote two of the first six episodes of the acclaimed Showtime series, doesn’t say that she was harassed by Shandling himself. But as the only female writer on staff, Hirsch writes that was ostracized by the male writers. She also recalls one incident when during a meeting with Shandling and the writers, one of the show's actors put his flaccid penis on her shoulder. Soon after, Hirsch says producer Brad Grey urged her to quit, which she did rather than pursue a sexual harassment claim.
