Author Michael Wolff will serve as an executive producer on the potential TV series after his book’s film and TV rights were sold for seven figures. Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House has been a worldwide bestseller, thanks in part to what The Hollywood Reporter describes as Wolff’s “cinematic writing and fly-on-the-wall detail." The Fire and Fury series could fill the void left by HBO’s Game Change sequel on the 2016 election that was scrapped in the wake of multiple sexual harassment allegations against Mark Halperin.
