Fox is the latest broadcast network to submit a bid for the NFL’s Thursday Night Football package, despite Fox CEO James Murdoch blaming Thursday games for a decline in NFL viewership three months ago, Bloomberg reports. CBS and NBC, which paid a combined $450 million for Thursday Night Football last year, are aiming to pay less for the package in 2018.
