Game of Thrones documentary reveals how tough it would've been to film additional episodes

One of the common complaints about the last two seasons were that the show would've been better off with full 10-episode seasons. But The Last Watch documentary shown Sunday night revealed just how stretched to the limits the show's production was with only six episodes -- which included the Battle of the Winterfell episode that took 11 weeks to film. The schedule is impossible,” production designer Deborah Riley says in the film. “I think this season, we’ve certainly found the limit of what’s able to be achieved.”
