Game of Thrones earns two Directors Guild nominations, but none for the series finale

DGA voters were apparently unimpressed with the direction of creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss for the series finale. Instead, the DGA nominated Game of Thrones directors Miguel Sapochnik and David Nutter for “The Long Night” and “The Last of the Starks,” respectively.
