Clooney and his producing partner Grant Heslov have boarded the Y: The Last Man writer's Legendary TV reboot of the classic pulp hero Buck Rogers, which was turned into the 1979-1981 TV series Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. They'll serve as executive producers. But The Wrap reports "it is Legendary’s intention for Clooney to star in the project." Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter reports that Clooney could star in a limited series and movie version of Buck Rogers. "The project is being developed as a potential starring vehicle (for Clooney) although insiders insist there is currently no acting deal in place," reports The Hollywood Reporter's Borys Kit.
