George R.R. Martin is now referring to the Game of Thrones prequel pilot as "The Long Night"

"Casting is now underway for The Long Night, the first of the Game of Thrones successor series to ordered to film," Martin wrote on his blog in confirming Naomi Watts' casting. HBO has yet to reveal an official title for the pilot, but Martin wrote in his blog in June that he'd prefer the pilot be called "The Long Night."
